The Hosts and The Show

The show was created by Historian and writer Shannon Butler who wanted to share her passion for interesting dead people with the world. She has been joined by educator Suzanne Turrisi who shares the same passion for those who have passed on and together they tell they research and talk about historic figures.

This week Sue tells the story of the man who gave us fake monsters while he saved us from the real ones. Carl Laemmle was the brains behind Universal Studios and some of the greatest movies during the golden age of Hollywood. He also saved over 300 Jews from the Nazis.
