In this episode, Shannon covers the story of the famous Gilded Age architect, Stanford White. Even though he made some beautiful works, his sex life got him into trouble and lead to his brutal murder.

And even if you don't speak English, you can understand his work if you understand facial expressions and body language. His work is universal. We love Norman fucking Rockwell!

Episode 27 - Annie Londonderry, Cycling the World

Shannon has found a fun story about a young housewife that needed to get the heck out of the tenement house. Annie Londonderry, also known as Annie Cohen Kopchovsky, decided to get on a bicycle and travel around the world in 1894. She left her husband and three young children behind to ride around the world in 15 months.

Sue will tell the tale of one of her favorite gothic ladies, Vampira, whose real name was Maila Nurmi. Everyone has heard of Elvira but did you know a groundbreaking woman from the 1950s heavily inspired her? You'll learn all about the interesting life of Vampira in this week's episode! 

Episode 25 - Curious Corpses and Body Parts

Shannon decided to focus on the macabre this week! We are going to discuss several stories of corpses that lost various bits and pieces of their bodies.  Also, the odd usage of corpses as trail markers on Mount Everest.
